P- O Lord Almighty, we come before you in behalf of our youth of today. You alone can plumb the depths of their fascination and joy. call them to your service.
People: Through this liturgical novena to St. Anthony of Padua, we consecrate our youth to you. Sanctify them, Father that they may continue to grow in love. joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, fidelity, gentleness and self-control the fruit of your spirit.
L- Father, you have sent St. Anthony of Padua to your church as the patron of students.
People: Make our students docile to the promptings of your spirit. Teach them the reason is not all the answer to the problems in life, but that the heart is the great stabilizing factor, in any human situation.
L- Father, you have given St. Anthony of Padua to your church as patron of teachers.
your son, make them see that the formation of the heart has the priority over the acquisition of competence.
L- Father, you have made St. Anthony of Padua, the model and friend of the youth.
People: Make our youth into the habit, of listening to your word. Let them always feel their need for you, and for one another. teach them how to value the common good and to respect the freedom of the individual.
People: Let our Teachers form our youth according to our exemplar
